What software do you use for the calls?
I can use Zoom, Teams, WeChat, and WhatsApp.
I need to cancel my slot, will I get a refund?
Yes — just message me before your lesson is due to start and I'll cancel it and we can re-arrange for a better time. I can't give a refund if you miss a lesson without messaging me before the start time.
What level of English speaking do I need to have before the lesson?
I can work with English speakers of all levels. We can use translated chat to communicate in your own language and I will help build up your English speaking skills.
What does ESL mean?
ESL means English as a Second Language. It describes somebody who lives in an English-speaking country but speaks another language natively. ESL tutoring is aimed at helping the student learn practical language skills for daily life at school or work.
What does EFL mean?
EFL means English as a Foreign Language. It describes somebody in a non-English speaking country who is learning English (for example a student in a Chinese school who is studying English).
